Size Guide
Our pieces are made by partner workshops, and the size labels (XS to 5XL) are theirs. They don't line up with US sizes, so the safest way to choose is by the numbers, not the letter. Every product page has its own chart, in inches and centimeters, taken from the manufacturer's size chart for that exact piece.
The short version
- Skirts, shorts and most jeans run small. Most people go one size up from their usual US size, sometimes two. Each product page says how much.
- Jackets and sweatshirts are roomy. Your usual US size gives a relaxed fit; many people can size down.
- Some pieces stop early. If a piece doesn't come in your size, its page tells you before you order.
Four ways to find your size
1. Your usual US size
On any product page, open "Find your size" and pick the size you usually buy in US stores. We translate it into our size for that exact piece, using its measurements and a standard US women's size chart. This is our estimate, so if you're between sizes, check your measurements too.
2. Your measurements (most accurate)
Enter your bust (for tops and jackets) or your waist (for skirts, shorts and jeans) in inches. We show the smallest size that fits, and how much room you'll have.
3. Your height and weight
Where the manufacturer gives a height and weight guide, you can use it directly. Some pieces are sized by weight only.
4. Compare with a piece you own
Lay a similar piece that fits you well flat, measure it straight across, and we'll match it to the closest size.
Whatever you enter is remembered on your device, so every product page then shows "Your size here" straight away. You can change it at any time.
How to measure a piece you own
- Pick a similar piece that fits the way you like.
- Lay it flat and smooth it out. Close any zip or buttons.
- Measure it as below, then compare with the "Garment measurements" table on the product page.
- Chest: straight across, 1 in below the armpits, then double it.
- Length (tops): from the highest point of the shoulder down to the hem.
- Shoulder: from shoulder seam to shoulder seam, across the back.
- Sleeve: from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.
- Waist (bottoms): straight across the top of the waistband, then double it.
- Hip: straight across the widest part, then double it.
- Length (bottoms): from the top of the waistband to the hem, along the outside of the leg.
- Leg opening: straight across the hem, then double it.
How to measure your body
Use a soft tape measure, snug but not tight: bust at the fullest part, waist at your natural waistline (the narrowest part), hips at the fullest part. Our charts show garment measurements, which include room to move: a fitted piece measures a little more than your body, a relaxed piece a few inches more, and our oversized pieces a lot more.
Good to know
- Charts show inches and centimeters. Tap IN or CM to switch.
- Measurements are taken by hand by the manufacturer and can vary by about ½ to 1½ in.
- Stretch pieces such as knits and jersey are measured unstretched.
- For some pieces the manufacturer only gives a weight recommendation. We show it exactly as given.
- Between two sizes? Take the larger one.
